View and BookA quiet and peaceful 5 van site set on a working arable and sheep farm with beautiful views of the North Yorkhire countryside. The site itself is situated on the south side of the farm and the pitches are lawned with electric hook ups. Pets / Children are welcolme although the location is possibly rather quiet for children.
We are within easy acces to the market towns of Thirsk (James Heriot Country) and Northallerton (Bettys Tea Rooms). The site is central for exploring the North Yorkshire moors and the Yorkshire Dales, it offers you tranquil surroundings whilst only 2 miles from the A19. The city of York is only a 45 min drive away and other places of interest : Fountains Abbey, Castle Howard, Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, Harlow Carr. Gardens are all within an hours drive.

If you want all the bells and whistles or a children’s play area, or even shops/pubs in walking distance this is not for you. If however you want peace & quiet with a good open aspect, then book in here! All grass, slightly sloping in one direction so siting facing... Show more

We live 30 mins from here but we needed somewhere close to Northallerton to stay overnight for a charity event. Called the site and availability was no issue so we headed over. Great directions, grass site kept beautifully. Easy access to water etc. very peaceful and great views. Being so... Show more

A last minute change of plan meant that we could go away for the Easter weekend if we could find a CL... The recent heavy rain ruled out a number of CLs near Helmsley so looked further afield and came across Bank Head which, unbelievably, had availability. Not too sure what... Show more

We stayed over the Easter weekend and found this site to be perfect for us. Beautiful views, well maintained site and facilities and easy to get into Northallerton. Site owners were lovely too. We will definitely return.

We stayed here for 7 nights and had a great stay. The location is perfect, very quiet apart from the birds. The facilities are well maintained and the welcome from the owners was great. We were more or less left to get on with our holiday and didn’t see... Show more

If you want views ✓ If you want peace and quiet ✓ If you want a well kept site and friendly hosts ✓ . Really spacious pitches and only a short distance from major roads, we will definitely visit again.

Spent six nights at this excellent site. Very quiet, no road noise, lovely views and a friendly owner. We have owned a caravan for over twenty years and this is one of the nicest sites we have used. Will definitely return if we visit this area again..

A perfection of certified location. Fantastic views in all directions, pitches on a large mowed lawn site. Delightful owners who provide a useful information sheet. Clean and organised water,waste and recycling. The only improvement could be a pub at the end of the drive!! but there are plenty of choices... Show more

Pitches are large, and even when having to pitch to one side to allow the grass to recover you are not on top of your neighbour. The field is pretty flat, with minimal additional levelling needed. There was a very slight 'buzz' from the A19 but this came... Show more

A fantastic site! Lawned grass. Plenty of interesting places to visit including James Herriot's museum,Beninghborough hall NT,Nunnington Hall NT,Rievauix TerracesNT,Hensley,,Thirsk,Leeds Armoury.We also visited The Forum theatre in Northallerton to see Andre Reiu live show from Maestricht. Supermarkets at both Thirsk and Northallerton as well as Aldi and Lidl. Enjoyed lovely... Show more
