The site itself is situated on the south side of the farm and the pitches are lawned with electric hook ups. Pets / Children are welcolme although the location is possibly rather quiet for children.
We are within easy acces to the market towns of Thirsk (James Heriot Country) and Northallerton (Bettys Tea Rooms). The site is central for exploring the North Yorkshire moors and the Yorkshire Dales, it offers you tranquil surroundings whilst only 2 miles from the A19. The city of York is only a 45 min drive away and other places of interest : Fountains Abbey, Castle Howard, Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, Harlow Carr. Gardens are all within an hours drive.
