Although not a bad site, at around 0.3 of an acre it is too small for 5 caravans in my opinion. Also, just over a small fence is another camp site. This other campsite uses all the facilities of the CL and uses the CL via a gate as a... Show more

Spent 4 nights here having booked at the very last minute. Loved the CL. It was quiet, well kept and very convenient for walking in Masham, Leyburn and Bedale. Didn't make contact at all with the owners but all we needed to know was on the notice board and we... Show more

A lovely site with plenty of room. It is just that the directions are a bit confusing. When it says take the second right sp Thornton Watless it means ignore the sp in Bedale just after leaving the town centre but take the right turn out in the country with... Show more

Just spent a lovely weekend at this gorgeous little site. Perfectly located mid way between Bedale and Masham and has a lovely pub in the village. We only saw the owner briefly on Saturday afternoon to pay, but didn't feel like we were abandoned, and a good information board made us... Show more

Stayed tow nights on our way back to Scotland. Facilities top class, Eggs available from honesty box. Located just next to village green & pub, watched the village cricket team play on a Wednesday night - funny boundaries, with ball just missing a couple of passing cars. Great location for visiting... Show more

I agree with all reviews, this site is fantastic, ideal for peace & quiet but not forgetting close enough to visit Bedale, Masham & Wensleydale. The chiming church clock does not disturb neither does the farm animals close by, will try & return if I can get in, very busy... Show more

We only stayed one night but could have stayed much longer. Each pitch has its own water, plenty of space, flat well cut grass, on the edge of the village. Watched a little cricket on the village green and had a couple of drinks in the local pub, the Buck... Show more

Just stayed at Village Farm for a week. I know the fantastic weather for the first few days helped, but what an amazing, quiet, beautiful, relaxing site. We looked our over fields with a few quiet cows, across to the village church, with dramatic, colourful sunsets. We fully recommend... Show more
