Why stay here ...

Westhouse Lodge Farm is a working sheep farm on the edge of the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales. Our CL boasts a peaceful stay, beautiful views, fully serviced and spacious pitches. Pets are welcome and guests can choose between many local walks, with or without transport.

The three-peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-Y-Ghent are close by, as is the Lake District, Morecambe Bay, and the wonderful Lancashire Countryside in the Forest of Bowland. The nearby village of Ingleton is accessible by foot or car at 1.5 miles away. Famous for its waterfalls and caves the village also offers a variety of shops, tea rooms, pubs, and takeaways. Just 5.5 miles North of the CL is the famous market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and 12 miles South is the also popular Market Town of Settle.

As well as walking, cycling, caving and climbing, nearby our guests can fish in the local river wenning for trout, play golf at Bentham Golf Club an 18-hole course with a modern clubhouse just 3.5 miles away and after 28th May 2022, go swimming at the newly refurbished Ingleton Open Air Pool.

Beautiful!

Westhouse Lodge Farm
Such a beautiful spot I could have just stayed in the caravan looking out the window all week. We stayed for a week at the beginning of September and had a fantastic week. Helpful and friendly owners. Well maintained site with each pitch having electric, water and waste water drainage. Easy to find and close to lots of beautiful walks and wild swim spots. I couldn't rate it highly enough. We will be back.

Lovely quiet site

Westhouse Lodge Farm
This is a lovely quiet site in a beautiful area. Pitches are a good size, with good space between them, and all have EHU, water and waste point. Lots of walks in and around the area. Ingleton is a very pretty village with good options for pubs, cafes, and eateries. We had a delightful meal at The Marton Arms which is only a 5 min drive away. Would definitely return to this site.

Lovely site

Westhouse Lodge Farm
We have recently stayed on this site for 10 days & thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The views from the pitches are amazing and there is so much to do in the area with lots of excellent walks as well as cycling opportunities. We will definitely recommend this site

Beautiful site and scenery

Westhouse Lodge Farm
A wonderfully peaceful site where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of the birds and sheep and soak in the fantastic views. We used this for a couple of nights in June whilst attending a family wedding and was very easy to get to off M6 and A65 (with just a very short single track road of a few hundred yards at the end but where the line of site is great) and good access into the site itself. As the site is only about 90 minutes from home will definitely be using again to relax and wind down either for weekends or longer. There is lots to do in the area if you wish to being close to the Yorkshire Dales (including the 3 peaks in Ingleborough) and Lake District. Great for walking with pub that serves great food just a short walk away too.

Fabulous site

Westhouse Lodge Farm
Stayed here in the colds of March when the snow topped summit of Ingleborough was striking in its appearance. The views are magnificent and the site is fabulous. Fully serviced hard standing pitches in a peaceful, yet easy to access, location. Jack is on hand and nothing is too much trouble to him. The Yorkshire Three Peaks are within easy reach as are the towns of Kirkby Lonsdale, Ingleton and Settle. One of the best CLs we have had the good fortune to hit upon.
