View and BookThe peaceful site was established over 35 years ago on our family farm. It is adjacent to the farm and is surrounded by open countryside. Visitors can enjoy watching wildlife and farm animals in the adjoining fields. The site is well maintained with the grass mown regularly during the Spring and Summer months. Electric hook ups are provided around the site and there are a choice of pitches including two hardstanding pitches.
Well behaved pets are welcome and there are walks nearby, including walks around the farm. Guests are welcome to walk around our pond and wildlife area next to the River Riccal. The River Riccal is also perfect for a refreshing paddle in the summer! We have a small flock of sheep which lamb at Easter and our free-range hens lay delicious eggs which are usually available to buy.
The site is an ideal base for exploring the countless delights of North Yorkshire. It is situated in open countryside between the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Terrace are National Trust properties located close to the site.
Both the historic city of York, and the East Coast with its lovely beaches and traditional seaside towns, are within easy travelling distance. The pretty village of Harome is half a mile away and Helmsley, a popular market town with impressive castle (English Herritage), traditional tearooms, country pubs, charming shops, and open-air swimming pool, is only 4 miles away. A lovely self-catering holiday cottage is also available on the farm. We look forward to welcoming you to our site.

Very peaceful site, located deep in rural yorkshire. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Picturesque location and, although quiet and rural, within very easy reach of nearby National Trust properties and easy drives to north york coast as well as York and Teeside. I recommend it.
