Why stay here ...

Our CL offers splendid views across open countryside and is situated on a pub site so you have the convenience of the bar and restaurant nearby. We have many tourist attractions nearby such as:-

The quaint seaside resort of Filey is positioned on the Yorkshire coast and is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Bursting with all the appeal of a traditional Edwardian coastal town, Filey offers olde worlde charm. To complement the town's natural heritage there are many award winning gardens to stroll through. There is a 5 mile stretch of clean, sandy, award winning beach with many nature trails around the town or across the magnificent Filey Brigg a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife. Surfing, fishing, yachting, golf, walking and bird watching are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed here.

Other things to do around the area include:-

Sewerby Hall (located just 6 miles away) a Grade I listed country house set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens in a dramatic cliff top location. Flamborough Head (6.5m away) stands 400 feet high with spectacular areas of chalk cliffs and has one of the largest sites of nesting birds in England. Just 4 miles north of Flamborough Head is Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve which has a visitors' centre and is a family favourite with more than 200,000 birds (from April to August) which makes the cliffs seem alive with adults bringing food to their nests or young chicks making their first faltering flights. Please check with the RSPB before visiting as some redevelopment work is taking place to improve things but public footpaths will remain accessible.

Scarborough - the popular seaside resort of Scarborough is also within easy reach and boasts beautiful beaches, including the safe, sandy North Bay, perfect for families. For those interested in fossil hunting, a visit to the chalk cliffs at Danes Dyke is a must.

Please note that we now have showers and toilets available on site. There is a  park and ride service at Bridlington and Filey into the town centres.

Robert looks forward to welcoming you to his CL.

The friendly site

A nice large flat site with established trees for shelter. No facilties but prefer our own anyway. Lovely friendly hosts and a proper pub selling excellent meals .Spent 18 nights over two visits and will be back.

No showers

Nice pub, enjoyed the food, reasonably priced. Bit of road noise but quieter at night. The description does say shower and toilet. No shower and toilet is located amongst rubbish at the other side of the pub, not one we wanted to use. They need to... Show more

Lovely site and great food at the pub.

We stayed here at the end of May, the grass had been recently cut and was cut again whilst we stayed for the week. The owner came to say hello and the staff at the pub were friendly. The pitches are marked out individually and the tress offer some shelter... Show more

Facilities are awful

Don’t waste your money. We have just got home from here. I really wish I would have gone and looked at the toilet and shower block before I paid. If I would have seen it I would have ran. I don’t think it has been cleaned for months. The shower... Show more

Totally Disgusting facilities

Just had a week staying here. The caravan club need to visit this place, the toilet and shower facilities are the worst I have ever seen. Filthy, no toilet paper, bins not emptied all week, broken tiles falling off the wall. Never see the owners unless you go into pub,... Show more

Would not recommend- facilities are disgusting

Stayed at this site from 31/08/20-05/09/20. It took a while to receive a reply to my initial email to book and there were quite a lot of people coming and going on-site. I thought CLs were limited to 5 at a time?!? Anyway, no one welcomed me at all or... Show more
