Why stay here ...
Our CL site is situated in quiet, open countryside on land adjoining our coarse fishery (Middle Harling Fishery) for which weekly and day tickets are available. The lakes are pleasant to walk around with a woodland on site and surrounding fields are grazed by horses and sometimes sheep and cattle.
East Harling village is approx a 20 minute walk from site. It has a local Co-Op open from early until 10pm. There are two public houses each serving food, a Chinese Restaurant/Takeaway and a fish, chips and kebab shop. The village also boasts a butchers, bakers, chemist, fire station, doctors and DIY store amongst others. There is a recreation ground with tennis courts, social club and play area nearby. All are within walking distance.
The site is on the edge of Thetford Forest with many walks and cycle paths to enjoy with some direct from site.
Places to visit include The English Whisky Distillery and Swallow Aquatics at Roudham, Snetterton Racetrack, Banham Zoo, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum, High Lodge at Brandon and Red Lodge Karting Centre.
Nearby market towns with large supermarkets and shopping include Diss, Thetford and Attleborough, all within 15 minutes of site with Bury St Edmunds and Norwich 30 minutes away.

Beautiful CL site
Have now been twice to this site and what a little gem it is. Thetford Forest a short walk away, fishing on site. Very friendly owners and dog friendly. What more could you ask.

Lovely location, great host
We stayed at The Lodge for 5 nights on pitch 3. The site has EHU and water, toilet block, dog walking area and fishing ponds. We were there to attend a Forest live concert, our knowledgeable host Tracey gave us great advice on how to get there and best time... Show more

Super Site!
