Situated near to Norfolk Broads and only four miles from Norwich which can be accessed by buses which stop near to the site entrance.
The Norfolk Broads offer opportunities for boat trips, bird watching and walking.
Norwich, only 4 miles away, is a historical city with excellent shopping offering a daily market, two shopping malls and many independent shops. It has two cathedrals, Castle museum plus other smaller museums. The Forum in central Norwich houses the Tourist Information, there are walking tours as well as an open top bus tour in season.
Riverside offers shops including Morrisons, cinema, bowling and restaurants including Wetherspoons. Delia's restaurant is at the Norwich City Football club at Carrow Road.
By the river in Bramerton there is The Waters Edge a newly refurbished PH which is good for food or just a drink watching the boats go by. Further along the river in Surlingham there are two more pubs, Surlingham Ferry and Coldham Hall. The next village Rockland St Mary has The New Inn PH which is opposite the access to Wherrymans Way which offers a lovely walk for birdwatchers and walkers. This village also has the nearest post office and general store.
If you wish to travel further afield the local bus stops at Norwich bus station which links to the rest of the County. By car we are approximately 30 miles from Southwold or Dunwich Heath and beach a National Trust nature reserve and 20 miles from Great Yarmouth.
£20 per night inclusive of electricity and awnings, please pay on arrival in cash, bookings for bank holidays and longer stays require a deposit. Please leave the site by noon on day of departure.

What a great site, beautiful setting very peaceful . Well kept lawns and pitches with plenty of room. We walked into Norwich and bused back after exploring. The bus will stop right outside the site .Easy walk to local pubs and the owner even gave a leaflet with things to do... Show more

This very quickly became one of our favourites. James has created a real haven of woodland tranquillity which has a real charm. Our third visit to this site and again we enjoyed it very much. Very easy access from and to the Norwich by-pass. Bus service to Norwich and onwards from the gate - we did not use our car during the 4 days we spent at the site. Plenty of shade... Show more

Lovely quiet site. Repeat visit .Very helpful site owner. Hope to visit again later in the year. Just take care on entry with larger outfits. No problem if you enter slowly and use mirrors. Bob& Toni CC members for 40+ years
