Why stay here ...

Old Street Farm, Edgefield is set in the heart of North Norfolk surrounded by rolling countryside just 6 miles from the coast and 3 miles from the quaint Georgian town of Holt.

Over the last 100 years the land has been farmed by 3 generations of the Pointen family and has now diversified through the conversion of traditional farm buildings and the caravan site.

The 5 CL caravan site is a half-acre, gently sloping, grass paddock situated off a quiet country lane adjacent to the orginal farmhouse and also comprises a hardstanding area suitable for 1 pitch if required. The site has wonderful views of farmland and meadows. We offer electric hook ups for up to 5 caravans, drinking water and a chemical toilet disposal point is provided.

Well behaved dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times. There are two dedicated enclosed dog walking fields nearby.

The local area has some wonderful pubs and restaurants - The Pigs is within strolling distance via a public footpath across the farm meadow and The Hunworth Bell is a short drive or lovely cycle ride away through the Glaven Valley.

The closest amenities are at Briston which is 2 miles away and here there is a local butcher, fishmonger and co-op. Edgefield Nurseries (garden centre) is also a short walk or drive and has a good selection of local fruit and veg.

Please refer to directions as the postcode using Sat Nav will not bring you directly to the farm.

There is no electric car charging on site.

One of our best CL stays - great site, lovely owner, wonderful area

Old Street Farm
We really enjoyed our week at Old Street Farm in every way. Amy is a lovely lady, welcoming and helpful. The site is spacious and well organised, sloping but not a problem. It is located on a quiet country lane, with great access to quiet lanes for our cycle rides around beautiful Norfolk villages. Holt is a delightful, interesting town, the only supermarket being Budgens which is struggling in a temporary shop after a serious fire, parking is not easy with the rebuilding work but the selection inside is very good quality. It was somewhat unfortunate that two of our days here had the first heatwave, but I found shade behind the caravan in the corner under a tree. We walked in Holt Country Park one very hot morning and found it a delightful place with woodland and a wildlife pond.

Old Street Farm
What a brilliant, quiet and peaceful CL. It has everything we want, Great views, Large pitches, Ease of exploring the area. It is a sloping site but nothing drastic. Amy is a bonus, She told us about places to go and to eat. and kept you informed what was going on. We will certainly be back for another stay when we return to Norfolk.

Lovely Short Break

Old Street Farm
This was our first experience of using our motorhome. Amy was very friendly and helpful both in person on arrival and in the communications beforehand. As other reviews have mentioned, it is a sloping site and so we had to use our ramps. We walked to The Pigs for a drink in the evening and also managed a longer circular route to have an excellent Sunday roast at The Hunworth Bell.
