Holt Certificated Locations
The market town of Holt in Norfolk is a great place to spend a few days, as it offers plenty of things to do, but also has a wealth of open space in which to relax.
It is surrounded by parks, including Holt Country Park with its wide expanse of woodlands and native flora and fauna to spot, but is also close enough to the coast if you fancy a paddle in the sea.
Within the town centre, there is an excellent high street with antique shops, book shops and places to eat, some of which are tucked away down charming alleyways.
Much of the architecture is Georgian because Holt was extensively rebuilt following a devastating fire in 1708, but there is a Norman church for anyone who wants to check it out.
Other Holt highlights include Holt Hall and The Obelisk, as well as the packed calendar of annual events that give this town a really welcoming feel no matter what the time of year.
