City Sightseeing Norwich
Hop on and off as much as you like on the route to see all the sights and attractions that Norwich offers.
View and BookOur Site is set in a quiet country lane, in the rural hamlet of Bush Green. Surrounded by fields and woodland, it is perfect for a relaxing break. It is a stunningly beautiful area which is perfect for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and artists or those who simply want to holiday in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. However, should you wish to explore the area there is much to see and do with a wide and diverse range of activities to suit everyone.
The Site is flat and well drained with easy access to electric hook ups and water supply and disposal.
There are some wonderful village pubs nearby where you can enjoy locally brewed beer and excellent food. The nearest shop is approximately 1.5 miles.
Norfolk has an enormous number of beautiful and historic churches; Norwich has been said to have had a church for every week of the year and a pub for every day!
Norfolk also boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Visit Southwold pier for some real old fashioned fun, marvel at the brighly coloured beach huts and don't miss crabbing off the bridges and shoreline at Walberswick - one of our family favourites. Head a bit further north to the bright lights of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth; very typical but charming English seaside towns.
Around 25 miles away are the Norfolk Broads which can be explored by land or water or a combination of both.
The Diss / Pulham Market area
Bush Green is approximately 5 miles from Harleston, a small but thriving country town with a range of independent shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants.
Diss is a bustling market town around 11 miles away. Diss has a number of supermarkets and a range of independant and familiar high street stores. The market takes place every Friday and there are stalls selling a wide range of products including locally produced fruit & veg, specialist fine cheeses, fresh Lowestoft fish, cakes, country clothes, domestic and garden products.
Attractions and activities close by include;
Frenze Beck Nature Reserve, a small wetland wildlife paradise on the western bank of the River Frenze in Diss.
Monsters, a purpose built play area for toddlers to 10 year olds. Perfect for when the weather lets you down and they need to let off steam!
Diss Museum, a small and intimate museum which houses a fascinating collection of artefacts and displays about Diss and the surrounding East Anglian countryside over the years.
Banham Zoo, see all sorts of animals including giraffe, penguins, sea lions, meerkats, cheetahs, snow leopards, birds of prey, farm animals and much more, ride on the safari train, see heavy horses working. A great day out for the whole family.
Go Ape in Thetford forest for a fantastic day out. Get off the beaten track on a 'forest segway', enjoy Tree Top Adventure using tree top wires, crossings and zip-wires, or bike around one of the UK's most beautiful forests.
