National Archery - Lowestoft, Suffolk
Master the ancient art of archery as you hone your Robin Hood-like skills on spectacular shooting ranges.
View and BookWilloways is a 1 acre site set amidst a beautiful 11 acre strip of fen and wetland. In recent years CC visitors have reported many sightings of kingfishers, heron and muntjac deer along with an occasional otter sighting! Great Yarmouth seafront is just 4 miles and a 15 minute walk will get you to a dog friendly pub beside The Norfolk Broads.
Willoways is one Certificated Location of two at Mill Farm. Deodara is the other and details can be found on the Website. Entrances to each CL off Mill Road are 120 yards apart, Deodara being just south of Willoways. Children are permitted at Willoways although they are not permitted at Deodara. Electric Hook-Ups are provided each with 16 amps capacity, integral RCD safety cut-out and usage meters. Please make a note of the electric credit on the meter on arrival and then simply pay for the electric you have used upon departure. Thanks. Most people use less than £1 per day in the summer but expect to use a bit more at chillier times of the year especially if there’s 2 ft of snow!
Access to Willoways is controlled via a combination padlock the number to which you will be given.
If you like fishing then why not try your skill at landing the infamous ‘Willoways Whopper’, a ghost carp of gargantuan proportion, samsonite strength, and an ugly beggar to boot. If he doesn’t want to play then no worries since at Willoways Water he cohabits with many common and mirror carp, tench, and elusive pure rudd. Access to Willoways Water is via a locked gate with a combination padlock. Children must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult of at least 21 years of age. Barbed hooks, keep nets and boylies are not permitted. Unhooking mats are required. Thanks.
Bird watchers and nature lovers will enjoy exploring the Wild Garden Walk (your canine family members are very welcome also) taking a stroll alongside Willoways Water and maybe you’ll get to say hello to Donald and Daisy.
Also a particularly special feature of the Wild Garden Walk are the rare Wild Orchids which you can see growing in glorious abundance towards the end of June and into July.
