View and BookBarleywood CL situated 8 miles from the beautiful North Norfolk Coast close to Burnham Market and Fakenham. The site itself is set over 1 acre of well-maintained grass with all clippings removed and very free draining. Pitches are well spaced out with access to 16amp electric hook ups, picnic tables and plentiful taps. There is also a fully oil centrally heated brand new shower and toilet block and laundry facilities. An information hut provides plenty of information on local attractions and eateries. Fridges and freezers stocking the basics are provided for your own use. We have a litter point and are keen on recycling. There are chickens on site and we sell fresh eggs. An abundance of wildlife visits the site including barn owls, red kite, woodpeckers, goldfinches, buzzards and fallow deer. This site is adults only and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Shower payment by honesty tin. Metered electricity from October to March, pitch fee includes £3 extra charged at current rate.
The site is an excellent base for walking or cycling the 43 miles of coastline. There is a place for fishing in the village along with many dog friendly pubs in the area. The local bus will stop outside if you flag it down. Some facilities and attractions are available in nearby Fakenham including shopping, gas, cinema, bowling and a selection of take aways. Close by are Sandringham, Blickling, Holkham Hall, Pensthorpe, Thursford spectacular, Burn Valley Vineyard and some wonderful seafood restaurants. Please see our website for further details.
