Lower Wood Farm is set in an acre of private paddock adjoining our family cottage. This is an adults only site located in a peaceful, secluded area. Visitors can enjoy shared use of the superb cottage facilities available, including access to the indoor swimming pool. Our grass pitches provide stunning views across the open countryside throughout the year.
This is an ideal location for visiting the Norfolk broads and the nearby villages of Filby, Ormesby and Caister. More lively guests will also enjoy vibrant Norwich city and the popular seaside resort of Great Yarmouth with their wide range of activities.

Nice site…nice area
Lower Wood Farm
Stayed for 5 nights in September band enjoyed our stay. The site is nice with lovely grass although quite sloping so levelling blocks would be required on most pitches. Nice views from the site and access is easy and straightforward to find, lovely farm shop just along the lane selling a variety of produce, milk and amazing coffee from the machine. Shop is not manned, you can leave cash or there is a card machine to process your own payment…was a real novelty for us as anything like that where we come from wouldn’t be safe!
Lovely heated indoor pool which has a booking system, you book your hour slot by writing your name on the timetable on the wall. Beautifully clean toilet and shower cubicle which was so nice we used it all of the time during our stay.
We were met on arrival by the owners lovely daughter as the owner was due back that night from holiday, we were told all we needed to know and made welcome and given a choice of pitch. We were told the owner would come and speak to us on her return but she didn’t and when we did see her we felt that she didn’t really want to chat.
All in all a nice, clean and well run site with added extras and great location for places of interest around Norfolk.

Lower Wood Farm
One of the very best CL's we have ever stayed on. Facilities impeccable and acces to the heated swimming pool and use of the laundry room. The Site is of a superior standard, well tended (nay, manicured) by the prolifically energetic owner Jill and her husband. Greeting from Jill couldn't be more friendly and she goes out of her way to make sure that you are happy during your stay.
The site is well off the main road with a very pleasant final approach drive along the farm road. A farm shop is open all day, 7 days per week, along the farm road, with meats, milk, bread, ice cream, and you can stop by for a feash coffee at any time too.
Once you have been here it will certainly be on your return to list.

Lower Wood Farm
We love visiting this site. We find Jill the owner cannot do enough for you,, The large field is always welcoming and well mowed
The owner has thought of everything you may need when staying on this site, from access to the pool, and games room and mini golf,
to a lovely and clean toilet and shower
The site is kept clean and very tidy.
Its location to the Norfolk coast is ideal for days out in all directions
Bookings have always been replied to promptly
And we will be revisiting

This cl is simply the best
Lower Wood Farm
Wow what can I say, we’ve been coming to this cl for years and we simply can’t find one fault with it. The owners Jill & Rory couldn’t be more friendlier or helpful if they tried. The site is a good size, away from main road and allows dogs, it also has the added bonus of a large heated pool. Lots of interesting places to visit near by. This is my all time favourite cl. I’m so glad my hubby found this in the book many moons ago and bought me here for my birthday. It’s a site we will return to time and time again. If you come here for a stay you won’t be disappointed. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners they certainly go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasurable one
