A little bit of heaven....spacious, peaceful, a real oasis, and wonderful host.

After experiencing some less than relaxing CLs, this was a proper holiday gem. 5 vans around a huge lawn surrounded by beautiful trees with abundant wildlife, butterflies, birds and tranquility. Just exactly what one hopes for after a long day on the road. We would have stayed longer if... Show more

Quick Update from last year

I reviewed this CL last year and if you want a full report please refer to that. Nothing has changed in the last 12 months but did want to reassure any reader that despite the torrential rain that has battered the UK in the last fortnight, including some fairly hefty... Show more

Truly outstanding site

An immaculately maintained site. Very spacious. Slightly sloping. Mr Oldfield is a true old Norfolk boy. Very welcoming & outstandingly helpful. The site entrance has poor visibility when leaving but Mr Oldfield is very enthusiastic about guiding you out if he sees you. The Duck Inn is next door. A very high-quality gastropub... Show more

Peaceful haven

It's a few years since we first stayed on Mr.Oldfield's site but it only seems like yesterday, especially in view of the warm welcome we received from him. There is plenty of space in which to pitch and you are not necessarily restricted to the 5 post markers. Bring an extra... Show more

Our second visit.

We stayed here over the May Day bank holiday. It's a lovely quiet and level site. We walked to the nature reserve from the site and spent an amazing day wildlife spotting - cranes, bitterns, stoats etc. It's an absolutely beautiful area and the owners are friendly and helpful. We... Show more
