View and BookFor those wishing to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of deepest rural Norfolk this is the perfect caravan park as it offers a 0.5 acre site, level and well sheltered with woodchip hard standing with enough room on each pitch to park your caravan and awning. Motorhomes park on the grass beside the pitch. Up to date wet room with toilet, hot shower, hand basin and changing area with chair.
If you love wildlife there is plenty to see at Spring Meadow, barn and tawny owls, woodpeckers and deer are regularly seen together with a variety of birds.
The Norfolk Coast and Broads can be easily reached by car or cycle with extensive sandy beaches at resorts like Cromer (10 miles), Sheringham (14 miles) and fine National Trust Properties at Blickling (3 miles), Felbrigg (10 miles) and Sheringham Park (13 miles).
The medieval City of Norwich is only 14 miles south and the tranquil Norfolk Broads are nearby.
Weavers Way, Marriotts Way and the Norfolk Coastal path are nearby. This is a good cycling area. Many quiet routes to the coast and the Broads.
Norwich is an excellent shopping base with Castle Mall and Chapelfield Shopping Centres. Alternatively the nearby Georgian town of Holt can provide many interesting finds. Supermarkets can be found in North Walsham (Waitrose, Sainsburys and Lidls) and Aylsham (Co-Op, Budgens and Tesco) along with some lovely award winning Butchers shops.

The Bure Valley narrow gauge steam railway is in Aylsham. Take the train from Aylsham to Wroxham and book a boat trip on the broads. Alternatively you can cycle to Wroxham from Aylsham Station (9 miles level) and get the train back. Cycles can be taken on the train if you pre-book.
Dining - The Crown Public House is situated in Banningham approximately half a mile. Full meals and bar meals are available daily. Other local pubs serving good food are The Black Boys Hotel in Aylsham Market Place, The Recuiting Sargeant at Horstead and for something completely different The Gunton Arms, Thorpe Market. We welcome dogs but please keep them on leads at all times, thank you.
We caravan ourselves so we hope we have provided our guests with everything they need to enjoy a relaxing and happy holiday.
