Ark Wildlife Park
Award winning wildlife rescue Zoo offering up close encounters with exotic animals, play areas and more.
View and BookSteve & Gill would like to welcome you to Glebe Farm CL, having been members of the Club for over 20 years we have tried to make a site which we would be pleased to visit ourselves.
Glebe Farm CL is a south facing site, situated on a small working farm close to Woodhall Spa in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. The site is in a secure location and the pitches are on a level free draining lawned area. There is plenty of space for awnings and all pitches have 16amp electric hook ups. Both adults and families are welcome as are well behaved pets by arrangement. Recycling facilities are available on site. There is excellent television reception on this site.
Visitors can see an abundance of wildlife including deer, foxes, barn owls, brown hare and many others from the comfort of their caravan.
We have a local public house, The Ebrington Arms at Kirkby on Bain which is approx. 3 miles from the site. They serve home cooked food and a variety of different ales, There are also a variety of different cuisines available in Woodhall Spa and Horncastle.
The location is well situated for exploring the local area on foot, bicycle or car,
Nearby is the Spa Trail, a disused railway line good for walking or cycling to the town of Horncastle where you will find many antique shops as well as coffee shops and restaurants.
Woodhall Spa is just a short distance away with its unique Kinema in the Woods, the Petwood Hotel, Jubilee Park and the Dambusters Memorial.
A little further away is the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby, the excellent Thorpe Camp Visitors Centre, run by volunteers, East Kirkby Aviation Heritage Centre and Tattershall Castle where you can enjoy views over Lincolnshire and beyond. Holy Trinity church is just by the castle and is where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake after your exertions.
Within a 30 minute drive you can visit the coastal town of Skegness, the market towns of Boston and Louth or the historic city of Lincoln where you will find the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral and the award winning Lincoln Castle, the home of the Magna Carta, in the Uphill area of the city.
For those of you who like wildlife there are nature reserves at Kirkby on Bain and at Snipe Dales which is between Horncastle and Spilsby.
If it is peace and tranquillity you are looking for this is an ideal site for you.
