Ark Wildlife Park
Award winning wildlife rescue Zoo offering up close encounters with exotic animals, play areas and more.
View and BookOur CL is a quiet site, catering for adults and pets. Set on a small working farm located in the village of Bucknall, the site is on a large field. Pitches are flat and lawned with electric hook-ups and ample space for awnings.
Bucknall is central to Lincolnshire, close to the villages of Bardney, Woodhall Spa and the market town of Horncastle, all offering a range of convenience stores/supermarkets, restaurants and pubs/wine bars.
The local bus service runs between Lincoln and Horncastle, both having good route links to other parts of Lincolnshire. To travel by car is equally as easy, being 16 miles (1/2 hour) from the City of Lincoln where you will find high strees stores, castle attractions and the Cathedral.
Other visitor attractions close by include Tattershall Castle, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby. Woodhall Spa offers the Petwood Hotel, a great experience in visiting the 617 squadron bar/dining area, the Kinema in the woods, as well as Jubilee Park. There are plenty of opportunities to find a bargin in Horncastle (some may say the Antique Centre of the UK).
With regards to walking, there are ample public footpaths in the area, over miles of open countryside. From the site we are approx 1.5 miles from the Boston to Lincoln Cycle trail that runs along the river Witham.
