The village of Woodhall Spa is situated in Lincolnshire on the edge of the Wolds and shot to fame when mineral springs were discovered there in the Victorian era.
Today, it still attracts tourists for this reason, as well as for its beautiful woodland backdrop and strong historic associations.
The famous 617 Squadron - The Dambusters - operated from the village from January 1944 to May 1945 and you'll be able to find out more about their daring mission at various heritage sites.
