A great place to relax, chill out or fish yet near to the coast

Wedland Leisure
This site is a real chill out place, peaceful and quiet in the Lincolnshire countryside, it has a small lake where you can fish or just sit and watch the wildlife, yet it is only a short ride away from the bustling resort of Skegness. The large grassy area provides plenty of space to spread out and so there are no formal pitches. The owner allows camp fires as long as they are off the ground he would have provided us with something to use but we had our own. There is no e.u but there is a toilet and shower which are basic but adequate, we didn't need these as we had our own. On the occasions we have visited there have been two Alpacs in a fenced off area these we found very cute and entertaining. The quiet lanes around the area are flat and quiet, excellent for cycling or walking. Within easy reach is the small town of Wainfleet where there is everything you will need in the way of food shopping, places to eat and two chip shops even a brewery that do tours. We have visited several times on our own and in a group, and as there is no light polution at night it provides a perfect place for stargazing. We think it's a great place for a break to charge our batteries so to speak.
