Why stay here ...

Strubby Grange is a quiet lakeside site close to the sea and the Lincolnshire Wolds.

We have 4 fishing lakes including a specimen lake for experienced fisherman.

With easy access for your caravan, five 16-AMP hook-ups, water, waste disposal, mains showers and wc this is a perfect base to explore the local area.

We’re close to excellent beaches at Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea and Sandilands for that perfect trip to the sea side.

Louth, a lovely Georgian town is close by, as are the Lincolnshire Wolds an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty with rolling chalk hills, hidden valleys and fine views.

We can recommend pubs and restaurants in the area, fish and chips by the sea or a country pub, the choice is yours.

Not what we expected!

Strubby Grange
We booked this site to enable us to visit my husband’s aging parents in Mablethorpe on first weekend in December. Our preferred site isn’t all year round. I chose this site as it has hard standing and the weather had been very wet. Arriving in the dark After a long drive we were horrified to find the aggregate used for hard standing was like soot! The black stuff walked into the van and made the 3 night stay a nightmare as we also have a dog! It was horrible! Luckily we spent most of the time with our relatives as the peace was ruined by a constant very loud rumbling and stench from the endless stream of tractors with trailers of slurry! We live in a very rural area and this was not peaceful. We won’t be going back!

Mid week in February !

Strubby Grange
We spent 3 nights here mid-week in February to try out our newly acquired caravan. Access to the site is easy and the site itself is lovely and quiet. The owners Mr and Mrs Harvey are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return later this year in the warmer weather.

At first glance

Strubby Grange
At first glance, we thought this site was a bit scruffy. Mainly due to weeds in the hard standing, and what could be a lovely centre flower bed to be overgrown with weeds. That's the bad side over with. On the good side. friendly owners, not overpowering or absent in any way. A great place for the dog. our well behaved westie spent a lot of time off lead especially on the beautiful walks around the lakes. Shower and toilets are in a green tin building, inside is spacious and spotless. great powerful shower with loads of hot water. Used also by fishermen so gents has more toilets . never a problem. We went for 4 nights as we had to be home for a couple of appointments. we were enjoying our stay so much we left the caravan there came home for 3 nights and went back again for another 6 nights. would recommend this CL x

Quiet and peaceful CL site

Strubby Grange
We have just returned from Strubby Grange and have had a nice relaxing weekend. There is a lot of improvements going on at the moment which can only enhance the site. There are a few ponds available at a very reasonable cost to have a nice relaxing day fishing. There is a really good dog walk from the site. The site is near the coast for beach lovers. There is a nice pub about 3 miles drive which is nice for a lovely meal. The owners made you feel very welcome. We will definitely return.
