Your dog(s) will love our 2.5-mile private dog walk direct from the CL where you might spot our resident wildlife including deer, muntjac, hare, pheasant, partridge and more. There are also plenty of other walking opportunities nearby, including Whisby Nature Reserve.
Keen cyclists will appreciate that we’re adjacent to the cycle path into Lincoln with its secure cycle storage, allowing you to explore the city on foot. Sustrans routes and dedicated cycle tracks will take you west to Clumber Park and east towards Boston and there are miles of quiet country lanes and gravel tracks to explore.
Our nearest bus stop is an easy one-mile, level walk.

Doddington Hall with its farm shop, coffee shop, restaurant, gardens, homeware and clothing store.

Head west into Nottinghamshire to the market town of Newark with its independent shops and tea rooms. Visit the 12th century Newark castle where King John died in 1216, and the award winning National Civil War Centre to immerse yourself in the history of the English Civil War.
Also within easy reach are the minster town of Southwell, historic Stamford, the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds and Sherwood Forest as well as National Trust and English Heritage properties and privately owned stately homes.
