Why stay here ...
A peaceful and scenic site, away from major roads, on a small working farm. Although close to M1/M6 and A14 roads the site is secluded and set in Leicestershire, on the borders of Northamptonshire and Warwickshire, so in a prime position to visit the sites of three counties.
The site is located next to the farmhouse in an old orchard with a very sunny aspect and still contains an apple and plum tree. There are 5 generous hardstanding pitches, all with electrical hook-ups and a wide curved roadway through the site. The site is accessed from a small tarmac country road through 18 foot wide double gates. A friendly horse and donkey live next to the site and the Red Poll cattle roam the fields within view.
The farm is half a mile from the village of Walcote, and the local pub is within walking distance once it re-opens in July 2016. There are a range of pubs and restaurants within a short drive. There are local supermarkets and takeaways in nearby Lutterworth, 3 miles, with deliveries often being made to the site!
The area is perfect for walking, relaxing or visiting local attractions like Foxton Locks, The Richard III exhibition in Leicester, Warwick Castle, Rugby, Market Harborough or even Stanford Hall 2 miles away.
The farm also has a self-contained Bed and Breakfast unit with discounted rates for guests with friends on the caravan site or CC members, making it a viable option for a family gathering.
Adults/Children/pets welcome.
Stay for a night or two to break your journey or enjoy the peace and quiet for a longer relaxing stay.

Lovely CL
We would definitely recommend this CL. Very quiet location and the owner is friendly. Worth a stop just to meet Derek and Misty the donkeys.

Peaceful short stay site
Nice little site, basic facilities but had everything we needed. Electric is metered but this is not an issue and pitch price reflects the fact there is a meter and simple facilities. Good value for money. Really peaceful, nicely laid out and good easy access. Would come again

Wonderful

Nice little CL
Have just enjoyed a couple of days at this lovely CL, the owners are friendly and stop for a chat the site is easy to get to and has all you want for a short stay at a CL. We will be returning very soon.

Peaceful
Lovely site with a warm welcome from the owner. Quiet, birdsong and the donkeys were entertaining too! Well kept site and within walking distance to the local pub. A great find.

Disappointing

a great little site, very level, quiet and the strawberry's are lovely, their are stray cats where Suzanne ask us NOT to feed them as it entices them to come on the c.l. field we will be back again

Lovey weekend away
