Rutland Cycling Leicester
Bikes for both children and adults including ebikes - the perfect choice for a day out for the whole family!
View and BookMyself, Chris & my wife Sue have owned Stanmaur Farm for nearly 30 years, in total we have 8 acres and have built up a very successful dog and cat boarding business. We take pride in what we do, and as members of the Caravan & Motorhome Club we wanted to create a site that can cater for and be enjoyed by people, dogs and cats alike!
The site is an off grid site with water, waste facilities (septic tank) and grey water disposal. We do insist on people using organic fluid (i.e. ELSAN GREEN or similar) as we look after our waste tank and our environment. We are also on a private water supply, not mains.
We ask that any animals that are brought onto the site have a fully up to date vaccination certificate (including kennel cough vaccine for the dogs) Please check with the site owners just in case you would like to use our facilities (kennelling at an extra cost) during your vacation. All dogs must be kept on a lead while on the site. The site has easy access and the benefit of full CCTV for your security and ours.
Our CL site has extra large grass pitches (breathable groundsheets only please) and is set within a fully enclosed/fenced 1 acre field with open south facing views. All our pitches are slightly sloping so you may not need levelling blocks? There is also dog walking direct from the site.
Within a 5 minute drive you have local shops, pubs and restaurants.
Kirkby Mallory Race Circuit is 4 miles, Battle of Bosworth Visitor Centre 7 miles, Stoney Cove Dive Centre 4 miles - the site has easy access to the road network for lots of day trips .
So whether it’s a stop off en route, trialling a new van/equipment or for a holiday, this is the ideal place and we look forward to seeing you soon.

We had a weekend stay here in April ‘25; in fact Chris opened a couple of days early to accommodate us. The site was immaculate and we had the whole place to ourselves! Access is easy, but follow Chris’s directions. There was quite a bit of road noise... Show more

A really clean and tidy site with excellent facilities. Warm welcome from owner Chris and great advice for local walks and attractions. Can't fault it. Will definitely be using again.

Returned for long weekend to this fabulous "Off Grid" CL, very secure keypad to field gate ( plus padlocked exterior gate overnight ). Manicured field with five marked well separated pitches, excellent clean water and waste disposal points. very nice views and good walks from site.
