Why stay here ...

Greenacres CL is located on the outskirts of the village of Pilling. It forms part of a private dwelling and is an adult only site in a rural seaside location.

It is surrounded by farmland in the Wyre area of Lancashire (PR3 6SD). Dogs are allowed controlled on lead.

Electric security gates protect the site and entry is by remote control. The site provides 3 hard-standing pitches, with the remainder being  lawned  and reinforced with underground Grassprotecta mesh. 16amp electric hook-up points with integral lighting are provided.

The toilet block with hot and cold running water is located in the stable yard tack room, this also incorporates an information centre and small lending library. No shower.

Drinking water and disposal points are within close reach of each pitch.

During warm weather some patio furniture is put out for use by campers.

Battery charging facilities are available and there is a farm shop opposite the site which sells local produce.

We are on hand to provide a warm friendly welcome and to assist our guests wherever possible.

The local bus route passes the main gate and buses stop on request. There is also a foot passenger ferry which crosses the River Wyre from Knott End, giving access to Fleetwood and onward to Blackpool via tram.

The site is within easy reach of Fleetwood, Blackpool, Garstang, Lancaster, Preston, Lake District and Trough of Bowland.

A sandy beach is located within 1½ miles and is ideal for walking dogs or an evening stroll. There are 5 Pubs within 1½ miles radius (a few minutes by car).

Just what a CL should be

This is a well run and spacious site with level and secure pitches, good amenities, and close to natural scenery and local shops. We stayed 4 nights, using our car, regular buses, trams and ferry to get about. The local tides are fascinating and the walks along the sea... Show more

The weather had been atrocious and the lawned area was sodden, but that doesn't seem to daunt them. We were happy because apart from the grass there are three hard standings. They can... Show more
