Gisburn Certificated Locations

Gisburn is an attractive village in the Ribble Valley that dates back to medieval times. Its finest old buildings include the church and a 16th century pub now converted to housing.

However, the greatest attraction is the rural location of the village, which lies just outside the wild moors and valleys of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also just a few miles north of Pendle Hill and located within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, making the area perfect for walkers.

Other outdoor activities include the mountain biking course in the Gisburn Forest, a Forestry Commission property that also offers walking and family activities.
