Why stay here ...

Dale View is a quiet, adult only site located adjacent to a peaceful coarse fishing lake. Set at the foot of Beacon Fell Country Park in the Forest of Bowland, the site is situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Campers can also enjoy glorious views of the nearby Bleasdale Fells. All pitches are hard standing and each pitch has an electric hook up, a drinking water tap and grey water drain and plenty of space for awnings. Dogs on leads are welcome on site.

The site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding stretch of beautiful unspoilt countryside. The nearby fells and the River Brock have an abundance of wildlife for all to enjoy. This area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and explorers with plenty of scenic walking routes and numerous villages within driving distance to discover. The small market town of Garstang has a variety of supermarkets and shopping facilities to offer. The historic town of Lancaster and seaside town of Blackpool are also within driving distance and offer visitors a whole host of attractions to suit all tastes.

Immaculate, well-run site - a Top Site!

What a lovely, well-run, immaculate site, with stunning views and a very warm welcome - certainly one of the nicest CLs that I have ever stayed at. Each of the 5 level hardstanding pitches has electric hookup, water, and a waste water drain, and there are several picnic tables/benches... Show more

A number of very good points but a bit disappointing

First the good points: 1. The view from the pitches over the fells of the Forest of Bowland is superb. 2. Fully serviced pitches. 3. Greeted by the owner on arrival and given an excellent information pack of the Forest of Bowland and a leaflet with plan of the paths around the nearby... Show more
