View and BookForge Meadow Caravan Site is a quiet adult only site ideally situated away from the road and halfway between the two historic towns of Tenterden (also famous for its steam railway) and Rye, and about half an hour from the lovely sandy beach at Camber Sands. It forms part of our 38 acre property with access to many footpaths around our beautiful countryside.
The site comprises a mowed to lawn field with views across the paddocks. There is a chemical waste disposal point and a well stocked information room. Additionally, each pitch has 16 amp electric hook ups and its own water tap for individual water supply to your own caravan.
There are a number of National Trust properties in this part of Kent/East Sussex, the nearest being Smallhythe Place just 2 miles down the road and which is also sited opposite the renowned Chapel Down Vineyard who provide vineyard and winery tours, a fine dining restaurant and a shop.
There is also a small village shop for groceries and newspapers as well as a bus stop providing transport to both Rye and Tenterden.
