Beautiful

A beautiful rural site within easy reach of Dover Port. We stayed just the one night and it was just what we needed with a beautiful bluebell wood right on the doorstep. Thank you, we would visit again.

Lovely rural site!

A lovely rural site. Flat with plenty of space. Nice cycle rides and dog walks. Will definitely come here again.

Lovely place to stopover for ferries

Exactly what we look for in a CL - just a field with water and rubbish/loo disposal. Best to approach from the south to minimise travel on narrow roads and to spot the field's sign on the west side of the very narrow lane. The owner's house is 100 metres north... Show more

Basic and perfect for overnight stay

Very easy access, though narrow road which can be avoided by staying on A2 a little longer and doubling back on yourself. Very peaceful and tranquil. Worth getting a bike off the roof and having a ride around- can get a good view of the sea without going too far. Very easy... Show more

Simple, cheap & convenient!

A fiver a night for what? Well.... 1) As close to Dover port as you could possibly wish. 2) Tranquil and as nice surroundings as you are likely to find in the area. The lane adjoining the field is very quiet at night, and it is full countryside. 3) A short drive down the... Show more

Perfect for overnighting

We have used this site several times on route to the ferry. The access road is narrow but manageable. The site is reasonably flat but lots of space to manoeuvre. Fairly sheltered and ideal for ferry port or Dover castle.

Perfect Overnighter

Lovely quiet basic CL. This is a perfect Cl to overnight on if heading to or returning from a ferry. Flat, firm and easy to park with plenty of room to sit out. To us this is what a CL should be. Mr Wadey is a nice, welcoming, easygoing chap as well Mike... Show more
