Why stay here ...

We are Ollie and Alby Ovenden, we are brothers and this is our first year of running Longfield Farm CL Site, Longfield Farm was previously run as a CL site for many years. We would love for you to come along and try us out, we are open to constructive advice and feed back, to help us improve things for those that choose to stay with us. We hope you have a wonderful stay with us.

Longfield Farm Certificated location is in a rural setting, and yet conveniently located for easy access to the A2, and Dover Docks. Perfect for an over night stop if you are traveling onwards to the continent or if you are homeward bound, or if you fancy are few days in the country.

The site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding costal area. Picturesque Deal with its pretty pier is only 9 miles (25-minute drive). Dover Castle, England’s greatest fortress, with spectacular views over Dover and the Ferry terminal and surrounding area. Visit the War Tunnels. Just a 10-minute drive will get you to the Castle. Sandwich is a medieval Cinque Port, with its picturesque buildings, Pubs and restaurants.

If you like wildlife, you can go seal spotting from the Quay at Sandwich on the River Stour. Sandwich is just a 20-minute drive from the site. There are many coastal walks to be enjoyed. Amenities are all within a short distance, just a 5-minute drive, or a 20 minute walk to Tesco, The Archer Pub and Chinese, McDonalds, The Raajmahal Tandoori restaurant, The Holiday Inn and a petrol station.
