Soak in the picturesque landscape as you experience all the awe-inspiring thrills of Hot Air Ballooning!
View and BookBorthwood Caravans is situated alongside Queen Bower Farm which is our small family run business set in a very rural part of our beautiful Island. The site itself is located in a large field which has a mixture of flat and slight sloped pitches and includes electric hook ups and space for awnings.
Borthwood with its fantastic surroundings, is perfect for dog walkers as it is adjacent to Borthwood Copse and surrounding foot paths. The Bower itself has views of the Island, so come and see for yourself. It is also in a great position for cyclists as nearby cycle paths runs through to Newport and Cowes. Close by is also Alverstone Mead, a 30 acre nature reserve in marshy splendour, beautifully kept and much loved by those who visit. Highland cattle graze upon it, water fowl swim and plenty of squirrels to admire. The nearby beaches are within easy reach and there is local horse riding to enjoy.
After a busy day you can unwind with onsite Holistic Treatments to ease those aching muscles (see our Facebook page) and then enjoy food at one of our nearby pubs, the Fighting Cocks or Pointers Inn. Fresh eggs are available during your stay.
For more information please visit our Borthwood Caravans Facebook page.
