View and BookSituated at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, Dagnall Farm is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) consisting of ancient Beech and Oak woodlands, rolling chalk downlands and lush meadows. Mown grass pitches provide an ideal location for a peaceful escape, with well-behaved dogs welcome and miles of walks, footpaths and bridleways accessed directly from the site, a 10 minute walk to the Red Lion village pub and plenty of additional local pubs and restaurants to visit.
Pitch fees per night are inclusive with no additional charges, ranging from £20 mid season up to £25 at the start and end of the season.
As well as enjoying the peace and quiet, there is a lot to do locally by day and night! Whipsnade Zoo and the National Trust Ashridge Estate are minutes away, with the Brownlow Cafe providing the perfect stop for decent home-cooked food after a circular walk through Ashridge. Ivinghoe Beacon, Pitstone Windmill, Medieval Edlesborough Church are all on the door step too.
15 minutes away is the historic market town of Berkhamsted hosting an excellent range of shops and restaurants, Berkhamsted Castle and the luxurious (and very comfortable) art-deco Rex Cinema.
Local National Trust houses include Ascott and Waddesdon. The Tring Reservoirs, Grand Union Canals and College Lake wildlife centre, just a few miles from the CL, provide one of the best places in Buckinghamshire to see water birds.

The flight path for Luton airport has changed putting this site directly under it. Not sure if it’s every day but the internet says it changed in July. Really noisy. It’s 1am and there’s about 15 min in between planes. The owners are very hands off. That’s great if the... Show more

We really enjoyed our weekend at this small site surrounded by beautiful countryside. The pitch was flat and well maintained with all the facilities we needed. Beautiful walks straight from the site on to the Icknield Way, no need to drive. There are farm shops, convenience stores and bigger supermarkets... Show more
