Why stay here ...

Mill End Plants CL is open all year and lies between Buntingford, Baldock and Royston.

Our peaceful site is easily accessed from the A1M, J9 and A507 or A505.

Country walks are available next to the site through rolling countryside and around the hamlet of Rushden Village. We have a lovely tearoom/cafe on site serving homemade cakes, breakfast and lunches. The cafe is closed on Mondays as well as our garden centre. Toilets are open 24/7 to our customers on the CL site. Cars are to be parked on our CL car park area next to the site during your stay. This is for fire insurance reasons. Blue badge holders are exempt from this rule.

The nearest town and supermarket is a 10 minute drive.

We’ve stayed here at least 5 times in the last few years. It’s a modern and immaculate site. The cafe is a huge bonus too. Amazing home baked cakes… the Bakewell tart is legendary. All 5 pitches are hard standing and fully serviced, with mains water, grey waste and electric... Show more

Excellent CL with fully serviced pitches

The site is well laid out and all pitches are fully serviced. Electric is via a meter that takes £1 coins and in July we were using about £2 per day. Coins can be obtained from the cafe during the day. Pitches are level. Very secure with electric... Show more

Always a good location

We stayed last week for a few days whilst dealing with family matters, Mark and Jane are always helpful and having the cafe adjacent makes each afternoon something to look forward to.

Very secure and well kept

I arrived after the garden centre had closed (by prior arrangement) and was met at the gate. As well as an electric security gate at the entrance (card operated) there is a padlocked gate to the CL area so even when the garden centre is open it feels secure. Manicured... Show more
