Kington Certificated Locations

Kington is an excellent location for exploring the border country between England and Wales. Much hillier than most of the English Midlands, the area is very good for walking in, with Offa's Dyke Path nearby marking an historic boundary between England and Wales, although it does not always correspond to the present-day border. The town has its own annual walking festival.

Local attractions include the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre, offering a chance for all the family to enjoy close encounters with some wonderful furry and feathered creatures.

There are also many old buildings and historic churches to enjoy, while the area also has a number of ancient burial mounds.
