Why stay here ...

Condor CL is situated in the village of Dilwyn which sits on the Black and White trail with outstanding views of the Black Mountains. Dogs are allowed but must be strictly kept on leads. From here you can enjoy the local countryside. There are many public footpaths, cider apple orchards and a wonderful Church, St Mary’s.

Dilwyn is a good base should you wish to explore, there are numerous places of interest within 20 - 30 minute  drive.

The site is central to eight golf courses, some of which are Herefordshire 12 minutes - 6 miles, Leominster 17 minutes - 10 miles and Kington 22 minutes - 12 miles.

The historic market town of Leominster is approximately 5 miles away and has the beautiful Priory Church and Grange Court with an array of antique shops. There is another historic market town, Ludlow with it’s medieval castle, 19 miles from Dilwyn. Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Hampton Court House are all close by.

The city of Hereford, approximately 13 miles from Dilwyn, has a magnificent Cathedral where you can find a chained library and the Mappa Mundi. For those who have a passion for books, there is the home of books, Hay one Wye and it’s well known International festival.

For those happy to travel further there are the Brecon Beacons (42 miles), Rhayadar Dams (37 miles) and the Malvern Hills (64 miles).

The village pub, serving real ale and home cooked food, is within a 5 minute stroll of the site.
