Why stay here ...

My name is Diana and my site is set in beautiful surroundings- in a valley with stunning views and rolling hills it boasts peace and tranquility and is perfect to relax and unwind.
Full of nature there are free range chickens and eggs are available to purchase alongside seasonal vegetables from the cottage garden.
The nearest village is Owslebury and is walkable (include steep hill) there are buses to Winchester and walks and additionally from Longwood too. The local pub is the Ship and was built in the reign of King Charles ll from old shipping timbers hence the name. It is a great friendly pub for a pint and gastro pub food.
Set in the South Downs Park there are some great National Trust sites alongside the South Downs way great for cycling and walking.
Winchester is easy to access by car or bus and is full of history with a cathedral beautiful grounds cute wine bars and restaurants.
Beaches are 17 miles away (nearest ) with great walks nature reserve and visiting the hovercraft museum enroute to Lee on Solent and Stokes bay.
Portsmouth is not too far away for cross Chanel ferry’s and Southampton for crossings to the Isle of Wight.
I look forward to welcoming you.

Peaceful site with stunning views

Just returned from a few days at Diana’s site. This is a small CL on good ground, which we had to ourselves this week. We did have an issue with electrics, which Diana (and another person staying in one of the SC bungalows) tried hard to help us resolve, without... Show more

Excellent Peaceful Stopover

We had a lovely overnight stop in our motorhome. We were the only ones staying . Hard standing pitch with electric adjacent to grass. Fabulous view to the neighbouring hillside watching horses and birds and four deer running too.. with the occasional plane seen on its trajectory to Southampton airport..... Show more

Stunning Location, Wonderfully Welcoming

Diana has the most beautiful site here. We stayed for 2 nights and had no problems booking via the landline - I am sure Diana won't mind me saying, but sometimes she doesn't hear the phone or voicemail - this may explain some of the negative reviews shown on trying... Show more

Impossible to contact and book

After reading the previous reviews for this site I thought it looked amazing and was hoping to book a few nights here on my way to the New forest. Unfortunately the owner is impossible to book with. Called numerous times over different days and there was no answer, emailed but... Show more

Lovely site - owner is WONDERFULLY bonkers! Clearly cares about her site - very well kept & dog friendly. A few niggles but enjoyed our weekend!

Diana is wonderful and does so well with the upkeep of this gorgeous little site. There is a separate field which Diana allowed us to let our dog run in (all enclosed), lovely scenery (of the hill) and well kept pitches. A lovely pub which is a walk away (if... Show more

Relaxing stay

My wife and I stayed for several days recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and rural with great views of the surrounding countryside. While I would agree that access from the lane into the CL is tight, its very doable - must be if I, a... Show more

We have stayed at this site a few times over the last 3 years and it is sad to say that the facilities are not up to scratch. Waste disposal is terrible and entrance to site very tight even for a small caravan. No greeting on arrival or departure. The owner... Show more

Lovely relaxed cl

What a lovely little site this is, lane and access is a bit tight but no problem for a more experienced tower, we had no problem with our kuga and swift 550. Site is on a slight hill but with lovely views. The owner is very welcoming and the site... Show more
