A Perfect Base for Exploring

Our site sits beside the Wayfarer’s Walk, a 71-mile trail connecting the highest downland in southern England to the coastal mudflats. Just a short 20-minute walk away, you’ll find The Vine, Hannington, a traditional country pub serving home-cooked food, fine wine, and real ale.

A SUPERB CL…….

We have had 5 wonderful nights at this peaceful and very picturesque cl site. Very welcoming owner, Joe, who is friendly and knowledgeable with some great recommendations. The site is situated down a farm track with no access issues with towing - as mentioned by someone else, Meadham Lane is... Show more

Lovely site near places of interest

As we approached the site following instructions we hesitated when the road we turned into had a sign saying unsuitable for HGVs and appeared to go uphill into nowhere. But in reality there are passing places, our caravan is 8ft wide and had no issues, we rarely met vehicles on... Show more

Great site in a lovely location

We have had a wonderful two week stay at the very quiet Walkeridge Farm caravan site. The owners are very friendly and approachable, but are laid back to allow caravaners to get on and enjoy their holidays. The site is well maintained and includes a very clean toilet hut.... Show more

Great CL

We visited the last week in February 24 and the weather was dreadful. Access was good and the facilities excellent. A spotlessly clean toilet. Very friendly owners. Amazing views, very quiet. Great for wildlife, birds of prey, owl, partridge, hare, pheasant, Fieldfares. Would recommend Harroway Organic farm, as well as... Show more

Peaceful site close to The home of Downtown Abbey

We stayed here to visit Highclere Castle and weren’t disappointed. This is a very well kept, peaceful site with a fab little toilet hut. It is a 20 minute walk across the fields to the local pub that serves great food and is dog friendly. Lots of great footpaths locally... Show more

Lovely CL with toilet benefits!

This is a lovely unspoilt area - so quiet and peaceful. The red-tailed kites hover right over the field! Love that Gemma and Joe are working on biodiversity - it's so lovely to see the long grasses, wild flowers and the insects enjoying them. The toilet is a bonus and... Show more

Great CL for relaxing and walking

Just returned from a really enjoyable 5 night stay. Access is straightforward, the last bit is via a narrow lane, but we didn't encounter any traffic on the way in or out. The site is directly on the Wayfarers Way, a long distance footpath with plenty of other footpaths going... Show more
