Splash Hounds
A heated pool for dogs, with life jackets, long lines and lots of toys for your dog to have splashing fun.
View and BookThe CL is ideal for walks and bicycle rides along the coast. The site opens up to the Hayling Billy Coastal path which runs all the way to the South of the Island along the shoreline with some pebble beaches. To the North you can walk/cycle all the way up to the bridge where you find a pub with great views and superb food (www.shiplangstone.co.uk). You will pass a nature reserve which is a breeding ground for a large amount of varies seabirds just off the coast. There are benches along the trail and it’s a great place to watch the sunsets over the water with Portsmouth in the background.
A bus stop is just at the end of the long driveway with connections to the South of the Island, Portsmouth and Chichester. 3 pubs and a well-stocked local farm shop are within walking distance. The field is large and level surrounded by horse fields. Kayaking and fishing opportunities just outside the gate. I’ve been told the golf course on Hayling is very good.
We have a toilet for the camper's sole use and the Electric Hook Ups have 16 amps. There are 5 hardstanding pitches for use in the wetter months.
Dogs are very welcome but have to be kept on leash on the site. Unfortunately we can’t accept children due to the horses being close by.
Portsmouth, Chichester and the South Downs National Park are just a short drive away.

A wonderful stay at Westcroft stables with our dog. There were plenty of walks and a burger van nearby which sold Dog Ice Cream. There is also a farm shop within walking distance. Sabine, the site owner was so nice and helpful we would stay there in the future.

Only a short 7 night stay. Trips to historic Portsmouth and Brighton were good days out and the coastal walk looks good too. Followed advice of driving to Lidl roundabout as tight access otherwise. Nothing negative but couldn't find a light in the chemical disposal room. Looking forward to return for... Show more
