Why stay here ...

Furzehill Farm CL is a peaceful site on a New Forest Smallholding just a mile from the Avon Valley. The site is a large, gently sloping field and the pitches are all lawned. There is a hard surface access road and electric hookups with ample space for awnings and parking alongside the caravans. We discourage Motorhomes in the Spring and Autumn, June, July and August are the months for Motorhomes. The pitches overlook a pasture field where you may see Foxes, Badgers, Wild deer and a fascinating range of other wildlife.

Our CL is one of the few that are actually within the New Forest boundary. Once you step outside the gate you have access to hundreds of acres of diverse scenery.  Ancient woods, valley Mires, lowland Heath, lofty Plantations, river Estuaries and gentle Coast are all there for you to enjoy. There are good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. An excellent farm shop is just half a mile down the road and the Market town of Ringwood is only 4.5 miles away.

The owners are very enthusiastic about the wildlife they nurture on their holding and are in the process of rewilding the woods and fields. Nature photographers, ornithologists and wildlife watchers will enjoy a stay here, there is a lot to see.

Furzehill Farm CL is very well situated for exploring the New Forest National Park and surrounding areas.

Peace & Tranquility

Just spent 10 wonderful days on this Great little site, fully serviced with you own waste bin. You will need levelling blocks, large pitches enabling you to sit back and take in the peace & quite listening to the birds chirp and the sound of horses hoofs walking up the road. Brilliant... Show more

Lovely stay in New Forest

Had a lovely 8 night stay at Furzehill Farm, site easy to find using what three words. Fully serviced, with own bin, well spaced. A little road noise but not disturbing and very quiet at night. Also we had minimal mobile/ Wi-Fi reception, but really enjoyed our stay.

Not a 5 Star Site........ It should be a 6 Star Site.

Not a five Star Site it should be a SIX STAR Site!!! - THE END. ARRIVAL: We were a bit worried about driving with our caravan along the lanes to get here however it was not an issue at all for the novice. Nice big entrance gate to come through and... Show more

Still lovely

As we haven't reviewed this site since 03/09/2014 and we have been coming here since 2006 (50 nights over 13 visits!) we thought we should review it again. What's changed over the years - the price - it was only £5 a night in 2006 payable on arrival and... Show more

One of the best

We stay at CLs rather than formal sites wherever we can so we know what to expect. This is one of the best! It is ideally situated, very well kept and the pitches are huge. We had dinner 25 meters from our caravan and we were still on our pitch. Access... Show more

Just what we needed.....

Lovely stay

We stayed at Furzehill Farm for a week in August 2020 with our two children (9 & 4yrs old). Richard the owner could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The water point and rubbish bin on the pitch was a big plus for us. Another reviewer mentioned road noise,... Show more

Still a great CL

A great CL in a great location which I reviewed favourably on 3 Sep 14. The CL borders and is above and partially screened from its access road. There is intermittent use of this road by other vehicles but they are relatively slow moving and we think unobtrusive.... Show more
