Excellent CL

Albion Farm
Little gem of a CL with hardstanding if you need it, grass if you don't. Very little road noise and quite at night. Water, CDP, recycling. Lovely welcome from Primrose who was looking after the site whilst the owner was away. Very easy going and layed back. Loads of walking, either along the canal to King John's Castle and Greywell Tunnel & village one way, or the beautiful town of Odiham the other, or along the footpaths up to the southern side of Hook common. This isn't a neat well pruned campsite, it's a quirky CL which is great for a stopover or a few days to explore the area. Don't drive in turn around and leave again. Give it a chance, it's a lovely friendly stop.

Great location

Albion Farm
We loved this no fuss site, we’re there for a few days before the owner wondered over for pay. He was helpful and Kind. The site is peaceful, a little road noise and the grass needed a cut, however this didn’t matter, as the beautiful area is on your doorstop. Amazing pub on the doorstop. No electric however for £10 night who needs it 👍 definitely will return

Fantastic little gem of a place

Albion Farm
Fantastic site. Easy to find with a pub the Mill House 100yds one way (bit pricey for food but looked good) and a petrol station 200yds the other way. Generally very quiet and a lovey sun spot. Though we parked on the top L/H/S of the field which meant there was a shade in the morning due to the trees on the left. You can pick up the canal by the petrol station and cycle along it for about 10 mins to Greywell where there in the Greywell pub ( easy cycle ride) You can continue along the canal towards Basingstoke but some places are a bit overgrown and some via paths through the woods and fields (thanks Mr Google) I had a mountain bike but the wife wasn't too pleased riding her new road e-bike (but it coped ok). It was a bit of a trek into Basingstoke this way (but interesting) but the road route was faster for the return and is about 6 mile each way. If you go the other way along the canal 10/15 mins by bike to get to Odiham and Galleon Marine that rents out kayaks, punts, rowboats and canoes. You can then cycle back to the site via North Warnborough which has a few shops and pubs etc. Google maps on the mobile was a big help.

Great Customer Service

Albion Farm
Very easy to find from the M3. Unfortunately we had problems with our heating, so parked up for the afternoon and then didn't stay overnight. We were very impressed when John didn't even charge us for using the site. Thank you! (Note: score is purely based on customer service, we didn't stay long enough to judge anything else)

Easy access site

Albion Farm
Close enough to M3 but not noisy. Large area of mainly flat field, Mill House pub/restaurant easy walk away along with larger variety in nearby Odiham. Walk along Basingstoke canal to Odiham castle ruins and along to Greywell tunnel with Pub at the end. Definitely worth a visit.
