Cl a little gem

We messaged John who replied asking us to email with dates and our membership number. This is the 2nd time staying here, last year and in May bank holiday weekend. Really peaceful stay. John the owner came and collected his £10 per night, no Ehu, no toilets/showers just a... Show more

Excellent CL

Little gem of a CL with hardstanding if you need it, grass if you don't. Very little road noise and quite at night. Water, CDP, recycling. Lovely welcome from Primrose who was looking after the site whilst the owner was away. Very easy going and layed back. Loads of walking, either along... Show more

Great location

We loved this no fuss site, we’re there for a few days before the owner wondered over for pay. He was helpful and Kind. The site is peaceful, a little road noise and the grass needed a cut, however this didn’t matter, as the beautiful area is on your doorstop.... Show more

Fantastic little gem of a place

Fantastic site. Easy to find with a pub the Mill House 100yds one way (bit pricey for food but looked good) and a petrol station 200yds the other way. Generally very quiet and a lovey sun spot. Though we parked on the top L/H/S of the field which meant there... Show more

Great Customer Service

Very easy to find from the M3. Unfortunately we had problems with our heating, so parked up for the afternoon and then didn't stay overnight. We were very impressed when John didn't even charge us for using the site. Thank you! (Note: score is purely based on customer service, we... Show more

Easy access site

Close enough to M3 but not noisy. Large area of mainly flat field, Mill House pub/restaurant easy walk away along with larger variety in nearby Odiham. Walk along Basingstoke canal to Odiham castle ruins and along to Greywell tunnel with Pub at the end. Definitely worth a visit.

Enjoyable Stop Over

The description implies this is a waterside site so a bit disappointed that the canal is way behind the tree line and you will be pitching up in a paddock. Conveniently close to M3 J5 but you wouldn't know it although there is some road noise from local traffic. The... Show more

Just Perfect

This CL is perfect for us, it has easy access, a spacious field that is very secluded, the owner is extremely friendly and helpful, there is a Tesco store about a mile away, and an all night garage for basic provisions if you run out during the night. The Basingstoke Canal... Show more
