Why stay here ...
Danebury is situated within the New Forest National Park boundary with access to open forest within 400 metres. The site is level with lawned pitches suitable for awnings and an information hut. All pitches are equipped with electrical hook up (10Kwh per night inc. in pitch fee) and water supply.
Danebury is an excellent base for exploring the New forest and surrounding area including Bournemouth and Poole beaches or Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington harbours. There is a local pub within a short stroll and the towns of New Milton or Brockenhurst are within easy reach. The nearest beach is within 4 miles and both coarse/game fishing is available nearby.
Danebury is a quiet site and welcomes dogs, children and well behaved adults. Horses and other livestock are on site and as such dogs should be well behaved.

Glorious Location in the New Forest
Danebury
Second visit to this charming site, perfectly located in the centre of the New Forest with walks from the gate straight onto the Forest, 2 minutes to a village hall and 5 minutes to The pub. All fully serviced grass pitches with excellent Wi-Fi and TV signal. Lovely owners and easy access.
Apart from the New Forest loads of places to visit including Milford on Sea ,Christchurch, Bournemouth, Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst,Lymington with ferry link to the Isle of Wight. Sammy Millar motorcycle museum etc.

A near perfect CL!

This is pretty close to everything you’d want from a CL, well maintained, flat, fully serviced pitch with your own dustbin, ponies for neighbours, friendly owners, great local pubs and the New Forest on your doorstep!
We had a fabulous 5 days here our first time in the area, we loved being out in the Forest. We did the Tall Trees walk and walked from the site following one of the maps provided in the Information Hut. If you have children (or dogs) the river around the Puttles Bridge Car park is great for paddling and picnicing!
We ate at the local pub a couple of times and had Sunday lunch at the Hare and Hounds at Sway, both dog friendly. We also had a very reasonably priced drink sat outside the social club one night after a walk in the forest.
There is a local shop, Londis, who bake pastries every morning, which became very addictive! Lots of other shops in New Milton including an M&S Food.
We’d definitely return!

Perfect location right in the heart of the New Forest with a ten minute walk to the pub.
Nice level grass fully serviced pitches.
Friendly owners, good CDP facilities and information hut, Good WiFi and TV reception.
Now are go too site in the area.

Very relaxing and all services available.
