Golden Valley CL site is a tranquil rural location in Oldbury Naite.
The nearby village of Oldbury-on-Severn is a short journey away, providing Oldbury community-run & Severn Weigh Shop
and The Anchor Pub serving delicious food.
Parallel to Cycle Route 41 but also has plenty of country lanes to cycle with watering holes on the way.
With country walks, paths or along bank of the River Severn & the Meades where hares & wild deer are often seen.
Slimbridge Wild Fowl Trust visitor center is 20 minute drive away which attracts thousands of birds along river bank.
As well as idyllic landscapes, you are sure to pass an assortment of quaint little villages, the market town of Thornbury with its
Tudor castle and Berkeley with its famous Castle and deerpark also hosting various shops, take-aways, sit in restaurants and
cafes.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Lovely
Beautifully maintained site with large pitches, smart fencing enhanced by rose planting and various planters around the edge. There is nothing not to like. Good dog walk from site. Beautifully kept and very flat, quiet site. Stayed 8 nights as went home 1 day early due to predicted weather tomorrow. Lunar the owners dog who my husband insists is called Lulu is a lovely friendly girl, she responds... Show more

Wonderful stay

Perfect for Gloucestershire and Bristol

Wow! What a gem.
This new CL is an absolute gem. The site is level with troughs full of flowers and herbs and an information hut including laminated and paper maps for everyone to use. Solar lights are on every pitch and strewn around the site. Vic welcomed us on site with a box... Show more
