Newent Certificated Locations

The historic town of Newent is located in one of the most attractive areas of England. Set in a valley from the Forest of Dean to the Malvern Hills, Newent also boasts a rich history.

It is believed to date back to Roman times and much of the town's past can be traced through its buildings. The most significant building is the Market House which was constructed in 1668 as a venue for trading butter.

Newent town's centre is still a busy retail location with numerous independent and national shops, but there is also plenty to explore around the area. Newent has several footpaths aimed at the casual or experienced walker that pass through some stunning countryside. Keep an eye out for the wild daffodils that grow naturally in the various woods surrounding Newent.
