Dursley is a market town that is situated in the English county of Gloucestershire, right on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds and nestled in the shadows of Stinchcombe Hill and Cam Peak, among others.
Thanks to its rural location, it is the ideal place for a walking holiday for anyone who enjoys awe-inspiring views. It even hosts its own walking festival each October. You can access the Lantern Way that includes Dursley, Coaley and Uley, to name but one good route.
Within the town, check out the 18th century Town Hall, the five churches and the Heritage Centre before enjoying something to eat or drink at one of the numerous pubs or cafes.
A little further afield, there is the fort of Uley Bury, Neolothic burial mound Hetty Pegler's Tump, the Dursley Sculpture and Play Trail, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Berkeley Castle and the Edward Jenner Museum.
