Why stay here ...

Rose and Martyn would like to welcome you to our sheep and arable farm set in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Set amongst open fields, away from the road and with open views, your only neighbours will be fellow caravan-ners' and maybe a few sheep. The farm attracts birds such as buzzards, red kites, wild ducks, pheasant and owls.

The level site is south facing and also sheltered from the north and all five plots have their own electric and mains water supply. Eggs from our free range chickens and ducks are available most of the year.

Watch the GWSR steam train in the distance trundle along the tracks from Toddington to Cheltenham. Both Toddington and Winchcombe Station are only a few minutes' drive away.

For those of you who would like to meet up with friends during your stay we also have a self catered "freight wagon" and run a bed and breakfast business from the Farmhouse. You can even join them for a full English breakfast in the farmhouse.

The area is a walker's paradise with the national trail of the Cotswold Way routed through Winchcombe. The new "Winchcombe Way" is a lovely trail with great views of local towns and villages. All can be accessed by our regular bus service from Gretton village or walk directly from here on one of the waymarked routes.

There are local golf courses or riding centres that we can recommend or perhaps a visit to Gloucester Rugby, Cheltenham Racecourse or the nearby famous Prescott Motor Hill Climb is more your thing (for competitors we have ample extra parking for trailers).

Visit the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe and Sudeley Castle, Cheltenham Spa, Broadway or Stratford-upon-Avon. Why not visit some of the many National Trust properties in the area or for budding gardeners we have several public gardens to enjoy such as Hidcote, Seizencote or Batsford Arboretum. The choice is yours.

Please note: Whilst we are happy to accept dogs as we are a working sheep farm, they must be kept on a lead at all times.

Lovely CL

Stayed just one night at this lovely, well kept CL. We booked at short notice and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful, even ringing us to confirm. The on-site honesty shop is a nice touch. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Royal Oak in Gretton, which is ... Show more

One of the best

Great site for a peaceful break

Access was very simple, we had an envelope on the door giving us a pitch and also it was on a board onsite. The pitches are huge. There was enough room for the caravan, awning and two cars without being squeezed in. The views were amazing, with a field of sheep... Show more
