Young Driver - Cheltenham Racecourse
Teenagers get the chance to start, steer, manoeuvre, reverse and park on a specifically designed road system.
View and BookWelcome to Pardon Hill Farm, a CL site situated just outside the village of Gotherington. We are a family run beef and arable farm in the heart of the Cotswolds based between the hamlets of Prescott and Dixton and also adjacent to Prescott Hill Climb and the Bugatti Owners Club and Trust. The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway line, which runs from Buckland, through Toddington, Winchcombe, Gotherington and Cheltenham Racecourse is nearby.
We have five hard standing pitches, each with electricity and water. Ideally suited for touring - enjoy a day out in Cheltenham spa, perhaps racing at the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup or visit the historic medieval town of Tewkesbury and see first-hand where the Battle of the Roses was fought. If you're looking for a bit of Shakespeare then head up to the picturesque town of Stratford-upon-Avon, calling in at Warwick Castle if you have time! If picture postcard villages are your thing, then we are a stones throw away from Broadway, Chipping Camden, Moreton in the Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Upper and Lower Swell, Stanton and many more.
There are numerous foot paths running across the farm and surrounding land, from a 15 minute walk to several hours - the land is there for you to explore from the Cotswold Way to the Winchcombe Way, it's all here on your doorstep. There is also a good bus route to Cheltenham, Winchcombe, Tewkesbury or Stratford-upon-Avon (Marchants Coaches)
Gotherington has a local pub, a convenient Post Office and shop and Winchcombe has numerous pubs, tea rooms and take-aways if you don't fancy cooking, together with several convenience stores.
Dave, Jo, Hannah, Katie and Iona (the dog), plus numerous ponies (mostly retired!) look forward to welcoming you and helping you make the most of your stay.
Car charging available and charged at current rate.

Having read a previous review regarding noise from the Hill Climb, i must admit i was a bit concerned, however, i can honestly say after staying there when a hill climb was on, the reviewer must have super sensitive hearing , the noise that we experienced was hardly intrusive... Show more
