Why stay here ...

A warm welcome awaits you at Lucy's Field. Offering beautiful views and stunning sunsets, in a very quiet and peaceful location on the edge of a small village just 2.5 miles from Bourton On Water. The village has a pretty church and a dog friendly pub (dogs on a lead at all times).

Local facilities include public transport, shops, a leisure centre and swimming pool. Fishing, horse riding, golf, pubs, restaurants and takeaways.

Attractions within 15 minutes include: (the Venice of the Cotswolds) Bourton on Water, Motor Museum, model village, Birdland, etc. The Slaughters, Burford, Bibury, Northleach and a host of other pretty Cotswold villages. Adams Farm and the Cotswold Wildlife Park.

Within 1 hour or less: Stratford, Warwick, Banbury, Oxford, Cirencester, Gloucester and Docks, Cheltenham and Tewksbury. Also 16 National Trust properties.

Rural Paradise

Lucy's Field
This is our very favourite site having returned here many times over the past few years. It scores 5 stars on all the categories and lives up to those ratings every year. Quite simply it cannot be faulted and Bill is extremely welcoming and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The site is kept in immaculate condition and together with his wife Lynn they maintain the site to the highest standards. Fresh eggs are available from the hens, ducks and geese, the ponies in the adjacent field are a delight and this year a few alpacas have been added to the experience. All together a joy you shouldn't miss.

Fantastic CL

Lucy's Field
We have just enjoyed a lovely two night stay at this wonderful CL. The pitches and amenities are first class for a CL and it is located in an easily accessible but tranquil place with lovely views including the resident barn owls, kites and buzzards. We had a lovely flat walk to Bourton-on-the-Water and Slaughters, taking in a pit stop at the Hawkstone brewery tap room. We will definitely be back and have no reservations in recommending this CL to anyone who is after a rural retreat in the middle of the Cotswolds.

Excellent Site

Lucy's Field
Stayed for 1 night and it was fantastic. Bill came down to meet us and talked us through the facilities. There is everything you need for a great stay. We were amazed as we were they only people on the site, although it was a Wednesday. I highly recommend this site. Also keep your eye on the owl box at the bottom of the field, we were lucky to see the Barn Owl go hunting.

The perfect place to stay in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Lucy's Field
Easy access from the Fosse Way. Travelling south on the A429, take the first turning to Bourton on the Water at traffic lights, (down Station Road). This bypasses the busy part of the village. Continue on the road until a right turn onto Leaslow Lane (look for a brown sign to the Lamb Inn). Lucy's Field is 1.7 miles on the right.
Immediately after the entrance, turn left onto an undulating field. There are lots of large wooden ramps hung on the fence to help level up. There are 6 pitches to choose from (only a maximum of 5 at any time).
16 amps. Showers etc are kept immaculate. Easy waste disposal, recycling and water.
Bill (the owner) is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Affable with a great sense of humour and he'll help you in any way. He told us about the ridiculously high prices at the Lamb Inn, so we followed his advice and drove a few miles to the Black Horse Inn in Narbeth. On a Monday night, they do a 3-course buffet of exceptional quality for just 12 quid!!! It is truly the best value pub meal we've ever had.
We stayed 6 nights and we've already vowed to return. Just fabulous!
