View and BookSaltcote hall is close to Heybridge and the basin, with the canal lock gates, pubs and tearooms. The market town of Maldon is 3 miles away, with its ancient quy. You can take a trip on one of the many famous Thames barges moored there or visit the museums and many shops. The town has lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants, a bowling alley, kids activity centre and an indoor pool.
The site is ideal for the river Blackwater. River wall walks (15 minute by foot), cycling, birdwatching and sailing. The site has an excellent award winning course and trout lakes next door.
