A lovely little CL within a walking distance of Heybridge Basin

We arrived on a cold blowy February lunchtime, the site was easy to find and easy to get onto. Only 3 pitches were being used, the 2 hardstanding pitches and a 3rd hardstanding spot which is normally part of the gravel track that leads across the CL. This was... Show more

So handy for Maldon

Well situated site for visiting Maldon. We walked via the Coast Path, returning by the canal towpath, but you can walk the main road and it also on a bus route. Maldon has lots to offer, with the quayside and Promenade Park. Numerous supermarkets. Pitch £20 with... Show more

A great base from which to explore Heybridge Basin, Maldon Promenade and the surrounding coastline by mountain bike. We did not meet the hosts at all during our stay. The chemical disposal point was far from ideal, a manhole next to the farm house, however this would not put us... Show more

Just what a CL should be

Really easy to find site and welcomed by Andrew. The site is well kept with shower and toilet available. Generous pitches with meter charged electricity (£1 or £2 coins) easy to use and economical, probably the best way to do it for us anyway, we don't use much power especially... Show more

A welcome break.

Owners are nice people, a pleasant chat with both. A very nice, well kept, little site. A clean, tidy single toilet and shower, (50p). Metered electricity. A small shopping center just down the road. Easy to get to the Basin and Maldon, which probably has one of the best parks... Show more
