Why stay here ...

My CL is in a lovely part of East Sussex with good views across the valley. The site is set within18 acres which include 10 acres of woodland, 2 lakes (120 yards from caravan field), one of which is approx. an acre which is well stocked with fish and there is a field with 3 ponies adjoining the caravan field.

The CL has 3 level pitches on the grass with level slabs to park your caravan on the sloping field. There is also 1 hardstanding (no Pegs) pitch on a raised area overlooking the field. All have electric hook-up, recycle and compost bins on site.

We work hard to keep the site in top condition and we like to keep the grass neat and tidy, to ensure this we will only place Motorhomes on hardstanding and we will need you to park your car on hard ground adjacent to the entrance. The site drains well and we do not have flooding problems but because of the slope on site and to protect the grass no front wheel drive motor homes are to go down the slope – most 2 wheel cars have no problems on site but if you encounter any problems please can we ask you to contact us and we will tow you off. PLEASE NO 2 AXLE CARAVANS, THANK YOU.

There are several villages in the area, Mayfield, Battle, Uckfield, Crowborough, Hailsham and Heathfield is only approx. 1.5 miles from site with 3 supermarkets – there are more in the other villages, along with many lovely local pubs and tea shops.

Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Hasting and Brighton are in easy driving distance.

Sussex is A good area for walking which includes the Cuckoo Walk, also a number of NT properties. The coast being 30 minutes away. Several children activities around.

Well behaved members, children and pets are welcome.

A real hidden gem!

We loved our trip to Rosewood Farm! Graham was very warm and welcoming and was on hand if we needed anything but otherwise left us to enjoy the lovely surroundings. We stayed on the campervan pitch which was in a great location at the top of site - from here we... Show more

A Sussex gem!

After 20 plus years of caravanning this has to be one of the best CLs we have visited. An absolute gem. There’s easy access to the site from the roads leading up to it and although the site is on a hill it is terraced to provide level pitches that... Show more

Made to feel completely welcome.

As some previous reviews have mentioned the site is on a slope but, with care and some level of driving ability, is easy enough to navigate. Graham is more than willing to help if required. The advantage of a sloping site is that the views are over the roof of... Show more

Mid sze van and car. Facts

After paying the deposit I received a list of site requirements, one would be challenging if one intended an extended visit . Dog mess to be collected and taken home??? The other requirements created the perception one would need carpet slippers on the site, arriving at the entrance... Show more
