for us this is what a cl should be - easy booking, lovely relaxed approach - very spacious site and quiet yet only 15 minute walk off road to Battle , Reliable hook up - as mentioned facilities are basic but that was fine for us - we loved it... Show more

Lovely pleasant site
This site is very peaceful and a great place to relax. Family are very welcome and so are your pets. There are 2 showers and 3 toilets which is an added extra as CL’s don't always have facilities. Lovely mowed and clean pitches all with electric. Farm shop is available... Show more

This was the first time on this site and the pitches were not clearly laid out or marked and the grass wasn't cut very short on the main area also the walk to the toils and shower the grass was not cut at all and was quite long. Finally the... Show more

what is not to like
previous to this site we stayed at crockwell park at £20 a night....this is £16 and 10 times better. no real complaints. flat well spaced pitches, probably the biggest i have seen on a cl. close to everything, quiet, decent facilities......recommended

Lovely site & surrounds but facilities need sorting out.
This is a lovely site, beautiful surroundings, neighbours like to mow their grass most days. Lots of lovely walks. Toilets & showers are very tired & need updating. Mouldy shower curtain, requires good & regular cleaning etc, I wish I had read the previous reviews. Owners very laid back had... Show more

Nice site with draw backs
The site is well located just outside Battle which is a pleasant walk too, very relaxing location and the owners are laid back and we had to find them to pay. The toilet block is outdated and needs bringing into the 21st century, often not cleaned very well with... Show more

Beautiful site
This site is beautiful excellent location and lovely views. However it is let down by the filthy toilets and shower they didn’t look like they had been cleaned for weeks and are very neglected. We never met the owners, we turned up about 7pm and searched around but nobody about... Show more

great quiet CL

july 18 visit
really liked this cl - great welcome and fun stroll or cycle to battle which we enjoyed exploring - also easy drive to other local areas such as Rye and Camber Sands - facilities adequate and plenty of space on the site - we shall aim to visit again thankyou
